Benefit Details

Medical Coverage

For employees NOT covered under SCA or CBA, Summit Technical Solutions contributes 75% of the employee cost towards the medical coverage and 50% of the dependent premiums beginning on day 1 of your employment.

Dental Coverage

All full time employees and their families are offered Dental Coverage through Summit Technical Solutions, starting day 1 of employment. With multiple dental coverage options, you’ll find the perfect fit for you and your family.

Vision Coverage

Summit Technical Solutions offers our full time employees Vision Benefits starting on the first day of employment. Vision premiums are also supplemented by STS.

Group Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment

This coverage is provided by Summit Technical Solutions at no cost to our employees.

Voluntary Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment

Summit Technical Solutions employees also have the opportunity to purchase additional life and AD&D coverage for themselves and their dependents at group rates.

Short and Long Term Disability Insurance

Employees at STS have the ability to purchase short-term disability (STD) coverage to help protect their income in the event they are unable to work for a short period of time.

Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account

FSA

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside pre-tax funds to pay for eligible health and/or dependent care expenses before your federal and Social Security taxes are calculated.

 

HSA

You may contribute to your Health Savings Account (HSA) through pre-tax payroll deductions to help offset your annual deductible and pay for qualified health care expenses.

Education Assistance

Summit Technical Solutions is committed to career growth and development of our employees through the enhancement of their knowledge and skills through further education.  Employees are eligible for assistance with tuition and course-related fees leading to a degree or courses for college credit that are job-related through the Education Assistance policy. Testing fees and training sessions for job-related certifications may be eligible for reimbursement.

Paid Time Off

STS recognizes that Time Away From Work to handle personal matters or relax is important to everyone, and provides the flexibility needed for employees to manage their time off through vacation and/or sick leave.  STS provides paid time off to all employees beginning on the first day of employment. Vacation will be accrued incrementally during the contract or calendar year, unless SCA, CBA or other contractual laws apply, and added into an employee’s PTO Bank each pay period.

401(k) & Matched Contributions

All STS employees may elect to contribute a percentage of their compensation to a 401(k) plan each year. All contributions are immediately 100 percent vested, and are deducted on a pre-tax basis. STS matches a percentage of employee contributions each year.

Computer Loan Program

STS wants to ensure our employees are set-up for success. As part of our commitment to supporting continued education, STS offers computer loans to ensure our employees have the equipment necessary to succeed. Our computer loan program assists employees with purchasing personal computer equipment by providing no interest loans repaid through payroll deductions.

Good Citizen Program – ‘Volunteer’ for PTO Hours

Summit Technical Solutions recognizes it is our responsibility as a good corporate citizen to help strengthen the communities in which we live and work. Consequently, we encourage our employees to become involved in their communities, lending their voluntary support to programs that enrich the quality of life and opportunities for all citizens. All Summit Technical Solutions employees may request STS support with any certified program that helps the community and those in need.  The support provided may be through various initiatives such as sponsorship, donations, fundraisers, and volunteerism.
