How do I reset the password for my profile?

If you have forgotten your profile password, click here and submit your email address. Information on how to reset your password and log-in to the system will be emailed to you.

When I submit my resume on your website, where does it go?

You will receive an immediate email response from STS acknowledging receipt of your application as soon as it is submitted. After a resume submission, your information is automatically stored in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Once it is in the ATS, a Human Resources team member and/or a Hiring team member will review it.

Why can’t I send my resume directly to you or a Hiring Manager?

As a federal contractor, we require all candidates to complete our online application so that we can ensure compliance with our employment practices. If special accommodations are needed during the application process due to a disability, please contact STS Human Resources.

I submitted my resume but haven't heard from STS yet. What's the status of my application?

We often receive large numbers of applications for our open positions here. We always follow Federal requirements when we review the resumes sent to us by candidates and contact the people we’d like to learn more about. Unfortunately, we’re not able to make personal contact with people we are not moving forward in the selection process.

How long will the application process take?

For current openings, our average time from position opening to position closing is 4-6 weeks, but some positions may take longer to find the right fit. If the position is open in anticipation of a contract award, it may take significantly longer, depending on award date and result.

What if I’m interested in working with STS, but do not see a position that matches my background?

You can submit your resume for general interest via our ATS system. Additionally, you can sign up for Job Alerts to be notified whenever a new position becomes available, or you can simply visit our website on a regular basis.

Can I resubmit my resume if it has been revised and updated?

Yes. To do so, please log-in and attach your current resume.  Our Human Resources team will see the new version when looking at your resume.

Am I able to submit my name for consideration on more than one opening?

Yes, you may submit your resume for as many positions as you want. However, please keep in mind that candidates whose experience and qualifications are aligned best are considered first.

Do I need a security clearance to work at STS?

Many of our jobs do require a security clearance, but not all. The required security clearance level will be noted in the job posting, if applicable. For more information about security clearances, click here.
