2018 – SERTOMA Bowl-A-Thon

Saturday, February 23rd, STS sponsored a team of STS employees who volunteered to support the Colorado Springs SERTOMA Club’s Bowl-a-Thon for the third year in a row. The Bowl-a-thon, organized by the SERTOMA Club, is an annual fund-raiser benefiting charitable 501(c)(3) agencies including Field of Dreams Baseball Camp, the local YMCA, and other worthy organizations in the Colorado Springs community. SERTOMA, which stands for Service to Mankind, organizes educational and fundraising events throughout the year.

STS employees and family participated in the annual SERTOMA Bowl-a-thon as part of the Good Citizen Program.

STS Facilities & IT Manager, David N. is a member of the SERTOMA Club and has assisted in organizing the bowling event each year. As part of our Good Citizen Program, STS offers employees paid-time-off for volunteer events, and support of sponsorship opportunities. Our program sponsors events like this year round, rewarding employees for their community service efforts, and support programs that improve our communities.

In attendance (photographed above) was Nicki M., Corporate Recruiter, James L., Social Media/Graphics InternMiriam N., Social Media Manager, and Michael N. This year’s bowling team enjoyed the volunteer event. We’re delighted to share that the event raised a more than $8,000!

STS is dedicated to giving back to our communities. As part of our Good Citizen Program, STS and employees support events around the nation. The annual SERTOMA Bowl-a-thon is just one example of the many ways our employees volunteer and give back to the communities in which they live and work. Don’t forget to follow STS on Twitter and Facebook to stay up-to-date on company news and events, and to learn more about our company culture and community involvements.
