2019 – Teens with Promise Gift Wishes

Teens who are homeless, or living in poverty, are the most forgotten group during the holiday season. For over 5 years, the Summit Technical Solutions team in Colorado Springs has worked specifically to support teens in our community by filling holiday wishes through the Teen’s with Promise (TWP) Holiday Wish program. Teens with Promise is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance development and build resiliency among disadvantaged and homeless teens in the Colorado Springs area. The organization operates a volunteer-based office, and is dedicated to providing teenagers with the supplies they need to start and stay in school. Each year the program collects holiday wishes from teens who may not otherwise receive a gift for the holidays, and every individual on the STS team works to fill each one with love. This year, the STS team filled gift-bags and wishes for dozens of teens who wished for anything from gift cards for gas or books, to clothing, sports equipment, headphones, games, and art supplies.
