Team STS provides direct ICBM systems engineering support for Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), 20th Air Force (20AF), and U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). Our experienced team provides complex systems engineering tasks for the ICBM weapon system, modification programs, and the future Ground Based Strategic Deterrence (GBSD). Our support includes the lifecycle of test and evaluation of missiles, command control communications, and peripheral technology. This support is critical, and directly integrates concepts for Development, Production, Deployment, Operation, and Security
The STS team includes many officer and enlisted veterans who previously served in 20th Air Force. While on active duty, many assisted in the production of Emergency War Order materials, providing personnel training and evaluation expertise, advising inspection teams and Subject Matter Experts. Our team supports ICBM modification and modernization efforts, assists in planning and mitigation efforts for emergency responders, and advises on ICBM related logistics, security, and maintenance matters.
STS develops processes and required analysis tools to facilitate AFGSC with the most up-to-date readiness trends that allow us to mitigate risks and program shortfalls that would adversely affect program success. Through all phases of program development, STS systems engineering supports mission-critical functions such as requirements engineering, integration, design, reliability, availability, maintainability, and accuracy.
STS personnel expertly advise AFGSC on the intricate handling of weapon system accuracy, test, modifications, and new systems on the follow-on ICBM SES contract. Our experienced System Engineering Support (SES) provides immediate access to operations, maintenance, sustainment, and engineering expertise that enhances AFGSC’s ability to accomplish its ICBM nuclear deterrence mission. We possess intimate knowledge of the weapon system, sub-systems, infrastructure, and interdependencies to perform complete end-to-end Systems Engineering Services.
Like AFGSC’s heritage dating back to Strategic Air Command, STS’ heritage in ICBMs extends beyond our current incumbency, and includes the contributions of our personnel over the past 29 years as uniformed Air Force ICBM operators or industry experts.
STS has established a solid record of exceptional performance, dedication to the mission, and a determination to significantly enhance AFGSC’s ability to accomplish its critical mission.
