STS has performed comprehensive IT Infrastructure OM&S for over a decade. This includes command level enterprise and fundamental IT support, unified communications, network and systems administration, audio/visual information support, and cybersecurity operations. Our security cleared team of professionals provide cyber and network infrastructure technical support and user operational support at multiple locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS. This includes hardware and software configuration management, integration, installation, testing, operating and maintaining equipment and systems, and managing broad user needs across the network to ensure continuous computer operations.
As a Prime contractor for SMDC/ARSTRAT, STS is currently fulfilling a continuing requirement for operation, maintenance, development, implementation and integration of technology enhancements for its Command Information Management System.
Recently, STS virtualized and migrated a customer’s SharePoint site due to failing hardware, an outdated operating system and unsupported software configurations. This initiative not only improved performance of the SharePoint site, but also facilitated subsequent development of an effective backup solution for data retention and processing. Today, the new system runs smoothly, built on modern architecture which is best suited for future maintenance, migrations and upgrades.
Through a combination of strategies, processes, and technology, our team of experts builds and maintains IT networks/systems, providing support for our customers in a low cost capital investment environment, all without compromising security, reliability nor speed of service.
STS delivers responsive Systems Engineering services to tackle the largest and most complex program engineering systems. We effectively identify and implement work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools to improve project efficiency.
As the alternate G6 Information System Security Officer for SMDC/ARSTRAT on CIMS-III, our team installs anti-virus definitions/updates on all user system, keeping operators informed of current cyber settings and status in order to ensure network security, availability and integrity.
Given the criticality of this task, STS ensures all personnel have expert knowledge of systems, equipment, and best practices to support all requirements independently as required.
STS supports the U.S. Air Force’s Perimeter Aquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS) contract as the sole Prime contractor. STS personnel provide 24x7x365 OM&S support for this mission critical Space Surveillance weapon system including:
We also provide Security Information and Event Manager Subsystem (SIEMS) operations, maintenance, monitoring and 24/7 on-scene annunciator alarm response for the PARCS Mission Data Processor (PMDP) SIEMS system. We perform daily log monitoring to detect low-level alerts and other alerts, and taking action when necessary. SIEMS is connected to the mission system providing automated, continuous on-line monitoring and audit trail to immediately alert personnel of any unusual or inappropriate activity with potential Information Assurance (IA) implications, and with a user configurable capability to automatically disable the system if serious IA violations are detected.
Summit Technical Solutions is a prime contractor on the Space and Missile Defense Command Advisory and Assistance Services (SMDA2S) contract. In support of an SMDA2S Task Order, STS personnel provided services to the Army G-3/5/7 for Command and Warfighter requirements including architecture integration and governance and Information Management (IM). STS personnel were also responsible for providing support to the Army’s Network Integration Evaluations (NIE) to integrate and rapidly progress the Army’s tactical network. STS SME’s worked with multiple organizations to integrate, evaluate, and assess potential networked and non-networked capabilities in a robust operational environment to determine whether they performed as required, conformed to the network architecture and remained interoperable with existing systems. Our team of professionals provided subject matter expertise and inputs for key Directorate decision forums and provided comprehensive architecture related expertise to support and integrate the placement of systems and scenario designs.
