2015 – STS Gives Back to the Pikes Peak Region

Summit Technical Solutions recognizes it is our responsibility as a good corporate citizen to help strengthen the communities in which we live and work. As a small business born in the Colorado Springs, the Pikes Peak community is incredibly important to us and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back and provide support.STS Community Support - Dave donating food

As a part of STS’s year round contributions, we were thankful for the ability to donate resources to local organizations that continually care for the members of our community in need: Care & Share, Springs Rescue Mission, and Salvation Army.

These organizations give assistance to thousands of families every year, helping fill their bellies and stock their cupboards. With the belief that no one should go hungry, Care & Share Food Bank supports the entire Southern Colorado Region stocking pantries year round and ensuring anyone who asks not to go hungry is given food and support.

Founded in 1965, the Salvation Army of the Colorado Springs continues to provide financial support, food, and shelter to anyone in the community in need or in crisis. The Colorado Springs location has supported our community, and works with volunteers year round to ‘do the most good’.

Lastly, the Springs Rescue Mission is a local homeless shelter staffed by volunteers: “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”. Not only does the Rescue Mission provide food and shelter for those who need it, they also assists with job training and rehabilitation to those in need, and is a truly deserving organization.

STS has donated more than 800 lbs of food, and more than 50 pies and other desserts to help our community enjoy the meals they deserve, and that wouldn’t be possible without these organizations. With the assistance of the entire Headquarters staff in Colorado Springs, we will continue to donate our time to these organizations and help give back to our wonderful community this year, and for years to come.

All three organizations are deserving of our community’s support year round, and we encourage you to donate your time or support to these organizations. May we all be neighbors helping neighbors.
