2016 – Colorado Springs Volunteer Day

2016 – Colorado Springs Volunteer Day

STS employees from Colorado Springs volunteered on Saturday, April 30th in support of Care & Share’s annual Sort Out Hunger event. This event is in preparation of the “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive, which is Care and Share’s largest single-day food drive each year. The STS Team supported the sorting event in shifts, and even a few family members joined for the good cause!

At Care and Share Food Bank, their core purpose is to bridge the gap between hunger and abundance.  Their mission is to provide food, partnering opportunities, and education to combat hunger and food insecurity in Southern Colorado communities.  Their vision is an end to hunger in Southern Colorado.

Stamp Out Hunger

Want to support Care and Share? On Saturday, May 14, 2016 letter carriers across Southern Colorado will collect food donations in order to provide assistance to our neighbors in need. How does it work? It’s simple! Just leave a bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox and your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver it Care and Share Food Bank.
