Summit Technical Solutions Celebrates Diversity with PRIDE for Fourth Year

On July 15th Summit Technical Solutions sponsored Colorado Springs’ PRIDEFEST 2018 for the fourth consecutive year. The Colorado Springs event took place at America the Beautiful Park located near downtown. Downtown COS was covered in rainbow displays with nothing but excitement filling the air, and a diverse environment of equality and community support. This event represents many values STS holds close, one of which is that everyone should be treated with respect, trust, and dignity.

Over twenty volunteers from the Colorado Springs Headquarters office, seen in each of the photos, were accompanied by friends and family who helped by participating in the 27th annual PrideFest parade. The festive parade is a traditional mile walk through the colorful downtown Colorado Springs, where local LGBTQ organizations, businesses, and other supportive establishments painted the streets with color, support, and love. More than 50 local groups, businesses, and LGBTQ organizations participated in the Parade.

All of our volunteers had a lovely time participating in the parade this year and interacting with the community who came out in support. STS volunteers gave away skittles and sunglasses to the crowd, celebrating, laughing, and dancing their way down the 1-mile walk. All of the spectators and volunteers were invited to enjoy the festivities at America the Beautiful Park after the parade!

For the fourth consecutive year, participating in Colorado Springs PrideFest was a complete success for Summit Technical Solutions and all the volunteers were proud to support their local LGBTQ community. As always, we look forward to our continued support of our local community in 2019. We are grateful for the ability to participate and support local organizations that do such positive things for others, and who create an environment of tolerance, respect, and dignity for everyone.
