SERTOMA Bowl-A-Thon

SERTOMA Bowl-A-Thon

On Saturday, February 25th, STS pledged $500 to sponsor a team of STS employees who volunteered to support the Colorado Springs SERTOMA Club’s Bowl-a-Thon; a fund-raiser benefiting charitable 501(c)(3) agencies such as YMCA Camps, Field of Dreams Baseball Camp, and local food banks in our community. SERTOMA, which stands for Service to Mankind, organizes fund-raisers and educational events throughout the year.

STS employees & friends attend a Volunteer Event in Colorado Springs supporting the SERTOMA club.

David N.Facilities and IT Manager in Colorado Springs, is a member of the SERTOMA Club and helped organize the event with the employees who participated. STS offers employees paid-time-off and sponsorship opportunities through our Good Citizen Program, which is meant to reward employees for their community service efforts, and support programs that improve our communities.

In attendance (photographed above) was Tyler B., Michael N. and Miriam N., Social Media Manager, Austin G., and Jaime S., Business Analyst. Not only did the STS bowlers have fun, Michael N. was awarded Top Male Bowler at the event for having the highest score. We’re also proud to share that including the $500 STS sponsored to the event, the STS team raised the second highest donation out of more than 15 teams, adding to the total of $6,700 raised at the bowl-a-thon!

STS is dedicated to giving back to our communities, and supports many events around the nation through the support of our employees, and our Good Citizen Program. This SERTOMA Bowl-a-thon is just one example of the amazing ways our employees volunteer and give back to their communities.
