2017 – Colorado Springs PRIDEFest

On July 9th Summit Technical Solutions sponsored Colorado Springs’ PRIDEFEST 2017 for the third year in a row. The event took place at America the Beautiful Park located near downtown Colorado Springs. The streets paved in rainbow PRIDE displays an environment of equality and support which represents many values STS close; Everyone should be treated with respect, trust, and dignity.

Fifteen volunteers from the Colorado Springs Headquarters office, seen below, joined by many friends and family, participated in the 27th annual PrideFest parade. The parade is a festive one mile walk through downtown where, more than 50 local groups, businesses, and LGBTQ organizations color the streets with their support and diversity in Colorado Springs. This year, businesses like T-mobile, USAA, Colorado College, and UC Health, joined by local groups like InsideOut and Tobacco Free Colorado walked in the Parade.

Everyone who volunteered had a splendid time walking in the parade and interacting with the community who came out in support. STS, as a supporting sponsor, gave away skittles, temporary tattoos, and sunglasses to the crowd, celebrating, laughing, and dancing their way down the 1 mile walk. All of the spectators and volunteers were invited to enjoy the festivities at America the Beautiful Park!

For the third year in a row, participating in Colorado Springs PrideFest was a complete success for Summit Technical Solutions and all the Volunteers were proud to be involved and support the community in this way.

We look forward to continue supporting our local community again in 2018. We are grateful for the ability to participate and support local organizations that do such positive things for others, and who create an environment of tolerance, respect, and dignity for everyone.
